Privacy and Data Protection

1.1 Hosting services provided by a third party

For the purpose of hosting this website, a third party service provider is responsible for the processing of data on our behalf. Our legitimate interest lies in the correct presentation of our offering. All data collected as part of the use of this website or in designated forms in the online shop as described below will be processed on the service provider’s servers. Processing on other servers takes place only in the context explained here. This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

1.2 Data collection and its use for order processing and creating a customer account

Personal data are only collected if you voluntarily disclose such data to us for the purpose of concluding a contract or opening a customer account. 1.3 Data collection when contacting us

When contacting us (for example via the contact form or e-mail), personal data will be collected. It is evident from the respective input form which data are collected. Those data will be stored and processed exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or of getting in contact with you and for the connected technical administration. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted after final processing of your inquiry, if you so desire, provided that deletion will not bar legal retention periods.

1.4 Stock notification e-mail

Personal data will be collected, if you sign up to our stock notification e-mail. The data collected will be used exclusively to inform you about the stock information of the requested product. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
You may revoke your prior consent to receive this stock notification e-mail under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. In order to revoke your consent, send a message to the contact address described below or click on the unsubscribe link contained in the stock notification e-mail. We reserve the right to store personal information such as your first and last name, postal address and - as far as we have received this additional information from you - your title, academic degree, year of birth and occupation, trade or business name in order to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
The sending of those offers will be done by a service provider on our behalf, to which we pass on your data. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact address described below.

2) Transfer of personal data for the purpose of order handling

2.1 Use of payment and shipping service providers

For the purpose of processing your order, personal data collected by us is transferred to the shipping company entrusted with the delivery, provided this is required for delivering the goods. For the processing of payments, we pass on your payment data to the authorised banking institution. Please note that orders cannot be processed without providing this data.
The legal basis for this transfer is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

2.2 Transfer of data to shipping service providers

If you have given your consent during or after placing your order, we will forward your e-mail address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider, so that they can contact you before delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or reconciliation. The legal basis for this transfer is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. 2.3 Transfer of data to payment service providers

If paying per PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit per PayPal or, if offered, purchasing on account via PayPal, we transfer your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a. r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter referred to as "PayPal") for the purpose of payment processing. Paypal’s legitimate interest lies in determining your solvency. The credit check may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the credit report, they are based on scientifically recognized, mathematical-statistical procedures. 3) Integration of the Trusted Shops Trust Badge

For the purpose of displaying any reviews collected via Trusted Shops, the Trusted Shops trust badge is included on this website. The trust badge and services advertised are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.

When a call is made to the trust badge, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, your IP address, date and time of the call, transferred amount of data and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.
